TOMOTOMO is an ebook reader, PDF reader, audiobook player, and reading companion for iOS. Its core reading and listening features are designed to work offline and keep your imported content on your device. Some optional features — account sign-in, cloud sync, AI Companion, image generation, and generated audio — require an internet connection and may send limited data off your device. This Privacy Policy explains what TOMOTOMO collects, sends, stores, and why.

Summary

• Core reading and listening features are local. You can import, read, listen to, organize, pair, highlight, scan pages, and track progress without uploading your books or audiobooks to TOMOTOMO.
• Imported books, PDFs, and audio files are not uploaded to TOMOTOMO for normal reading/listening. They are copied into the app’s local storage on your device.
• Optional network features may send limited data. Cloud sync, AI Companion, image generation, and generated audio require internet access and are described below.
• No advertising or tracking. TOMOTOMO does not sell your personal data and does not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
• No DRM circumvention. TOMOTOMO is intended for files you have the right to use. It does not remove or bypass digital rights management.

Files You Import

When you import EPUB books, PDF files, M4B audiobooks, MP3 files, or MP3 folders, TOMOTOMO copies those files into the app’s local storage on your device.

TOMOTOMO does not upload your imported books, PDFs, or audio files to TOMOTOMO’s servers for ordinary reading, listening, pairing, page matching, or library management.

You can remove imported files by deleting them within the app or deleting the app from your device. Deleting the app may remove locally stored files, generated media, progress, highlights, and settings that have not been synced or exported.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to import, access, process, listen to, and use any content you add to TOMOTOMO.

No DRM Circumvention

TOMOTOMO does not provide tools to remove, bypass, defeat, or circumvent digital rights management, copy protection, access controls, or other technical restrictions.

The app is intended for DRM-free files, public-domain materials, personal documents, and other content you are legally permitted to use.
